Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Uruguay: Q1 2025

During the first quarter of 2025, the performance of navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Uruguay showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insight into the market dynamics of these popular apps.

Google Maps experienced an upward trend in weekly downloads mid-quarter, reaching around 4K in mid-February. Its weekly active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at approximately 126K in mid-February before stabilizing around 120K towards the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at about 3.7K and dropping to just over 1K by the end of March. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 56K to 59K.

Telepeaje uy observed a consistent decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at 787 and concluding at 255 by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 498 in the week of March 24. Its weekly active users showed a positive trend, reaching a high of 3.1K in late March.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar had fluctuating trends with a notable peak in early February, reaching 632 downloads. The app's weekly revenue saw an increase, peaking at around $192 by the end of March, while active users grew to 477 in the same period.
